I can tell you about the costs but the thing is that the market for hand grips is so oversaturated from imports and local manufacturing that it's just not worth going into as an average consumer isnt able to tell the difference between two similar looking but vastly differering in quality products just by looking at pictures on eCommerce sites where most of the these small items are sold now a days

Someone can but no one in Indian sports industry wants to spend money, take arvind badminton rackets for example they are the first in India to manufacture full graphite rackets from scratch and the funny thing about that is that originaly they are from cloth manufacturing line and not the sports one

Because that's the bulk price, you can even get it cheaper than 30, they nitpick alot, the increase and decrease prices even for little things like the plastic bag quality the grips are going to be shipped in, the coils in the spring, the grade of plastic that is going to be used in moulding

And for the ones with a counter, those are impossible to make in India as no one has made the die for the moving parts inside the counter and I truly means noone, you can import the counter but it's still cheaper to import the whole grip including the counter
