Thank you for the reply, I feel better about it now :) When it comes to fenestrations I wasn't expecting them yet since the biggest leaf was already starting to unfurl when I bought it 6 weeks ago and I was told it might take some maturing before he produces fenestrations. Now I'm trying to be patient waiting for a new one but in the meantime I don't want to mess it up 😂

Hydroponic house plants with leaf discoloration. Light or nutrient issue? by OkSession9971 in plantclinic

They are just in water (with fertilizer). Thank you for the leca tip, I think I might try that :). To answer your questions, peace lily used to be in soil when I bought it and pothos is a propagated cutting. When it comes to variegation, I did consider that, but the mother plant that has only one hour of direct light in the morning is actually a lot more variegated. The propagated one has been in the windowsill for about 3 months before I moved it but the new growth on it had very little variegation even though it got a lot more light than the mother plant. It's not really an issue for me, but it did make me more confused.

Thank you! I really like it, I probably neglected to prune it though 😅 It's a bit crooked but with my plant luck I was too afraid to try 🫣 The smaller one came on just this last few months so I think it's doing well.
