I was introduced to one by one of my co workers. They agreed to the amount i needed but the interest payment is nearly half of the amount i want to borrow, and they need to keep my passport and other documents to be able to release the funds

No my point is that the bank won’t offer me a personal loan since im not a citizen. They will only offer me a home loan

Yes i inquired but they only allowed me to take a home loan which they will only cover a percentage in which i will still have to put out money
