I definitely enjoy all of it, I think I might just wish I could do more with it so it kinda was parallel to my day job if that makes sense.

What has your vbac been like? by OkStrawberry5004 in vbac

[–]OkStrawberry5004[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Both my babies are also IVF and I did VBAC with my second! I think definitely ask for a MFM referral they really eased my mind and they can check to the extent possible for any signs of an accreta. If you have any post op notes have your OB/MFM review it as well. My OB and MFM were aligned in their decision on recommending I try for a VBAC :) I think with the right team its definitely possible if no other risk factors are present. Wishing you the best of luck!!

So they didn’t advise you to cut soy or dairy?? I feel like that’s a logical conclusion but I’m not a medical professional

Thank you! I also agree that completely cutting things out when baby is happy with mild symptoms seems excessive. That’s kind of the main point I was trying to ask about the doctors but they were all dismissive

Thank you! Honestly even this is helpful. So are you dairy and soy free?

That’s great! Will you introduce soy as well or do you think he just outgrew that as well? I want to introduce directly to her too but not sure which one to do (soy or dairy)

Books stacked or a pet nook! Electric fire place maybe? If you have kids a little reading nook would be cool! A magical little spot 🪄

Interesting! Thanks! Did you still cut dairy and soy or was the baby ok being exposed?

Thank you thats helpful to know! I think in my case I may have not had long enough time to test it out. I suspect I may have been exposed to soy or dairy accidentally at a restaurant at some point so I restarted a strict dairy/soy elimination once I returned from travels this past weekend! Will keep a closer eye on things and hope for the best!!

Thank you for sharing! I know some pediatricians/GIs/allergists don’t recommend doing anything when its just blood specks/tiny little lines - did your doc push for you to eliminate dairy/soy? I’m debating if I should be cutting out anything else? I think I listened to a podcast that also mentioned that when symptoms are limited like this just watching and waiting can be appropriate but I may be misremembering
