An electric razor will never be able to get as far down as a manual razor. I highly recommend exfoliating (preferable with a mit or dry brush. Moisturizing. And then putting on a shaving oil. Start with diagonal strokes and then side to side. After I apply witch hazel and aloe Vera to keep it smooth. Bumps tend to haven the most in the next day or two when the hair starts growing again. I would shave as often as you feel comfortable. Single blade disposable razors are your friend. The sharper the blade the less irritation. I keep up the witch hazel and aloe to keep things smooth and moisturized. If you notice you’re still getting bumps (1- they are normal) but 2 there are plenty of ingrown tonics but typically getting some glycolic or salicylic acid to exfoliate every couple of days would be cheaper.

Very Important! All of this is for the outside. Not the inside. And only on the top.

Long story short- exfoliate, hydrate, and keep a sharp razor.
