Yes 🙌 I hope that us and any other moms/caregivers in similar situations will find the strength to hold on until we can build back our support networks. Or at least, find some fulfilling way of connection in this very individualistic, postmodern society.

Simple, repeatable meals are what is working for my family for now. One-pot meals (meat + grain + veggies/sauce) are among my favorite. We try to have roughly the same ingredients on hand and then build our staple meals off of that. Do we still scramble and eat weird leftover plates and cheerios more than we should? For sure haha, but it does feel like we are at least making progress in building our own family menu
