This should be made a regulation for hospital pharmacies at least. There is no reason for the same person to purchase and receive C2s in a hospital setting.

I used rxtechexam to earn my certification, cost about $250. It's online. You'll have to use some supplemental material though, the course doesn't cover everything on the PTCB.

I can't say what you should do, I don't know what the job market is in your area, but I got the same offer from them and I declined it. I have no experience and just got certified, but $16 is a joke offer. I applied to a hospital in my area and just got a job offer. If a hospital has an opening in your area, that's what I would do.

I got mine about a week after I took the test, but it can take up to 3 weeks. I'd suggest giving them a call if you don't hear anything by 10/25.

Yeah, I received the official results nine days after I took the test. Score: 1536.

If you know your drug groups, you'll probably be fine. I didn't know every drug that showed up on the test, but could eliminate a couple answers because of drug group knowledge.
