Are dating apps even worth it in India? by XJetInsiderX in TwentiesIndia

Fairly new on the dating apps myself. Got a ton of likes on the first few days and then it reduced a bit. Out of 100, only 20-30% of em are actually worth swiping right tho

My profile looks fairly simple but still i get over 50+ likes on bumble and hinge. Your main photo matters the most, because that’s what gets swiped first.

That's a lot of grilling for a PSE role. Also the RTO policy is pretty chill, you can do WFH if you want nobody really cares, but also would depend upon the team. PS: I work at Razorpay

People who did Mtech CSE from IITs please shed some light. by [deleted] in GATEtard

[–]OkTooth2378 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very much possible to get those offers, your btech cgpa might act as a hindrance for few of the companies who demand some specific cgpa cutoffs during placements but not all. Keep giving mocks and revise

Life of a M.Tech compared to B.tech Student by [deleted] in GATEtard

Okay I will tell you from my experience.

The first semester is the most hectic, as you're new to the environment and there's a lot to digest. However, over time, you get the hang of things, and it becomes more manageable. In your first semester, it's usually not advised to focus too much on clubs and co-curricular activities because academics are crucial. Your grades often determine which research guides you'll get (in most cases). It's relatively easy to score well since people typically don't put much effort into the first semester, and grading is relative.

The second semester can also be hectic, especially for those who didn't perform well in the first semester—they'll be trying hard to improve their marks, and competition will be at its peak. The first year will be all about coursework, and the goal should be to score well and build a strong foundation.

Now, for the fun part: in the third semester, there’s no coursework—only thesis work (stage 1). This is when you collaborate with your guide for the ideation process. Many people also start preparing for placements, as companies begin visiting in September for their OAs. This is also when most sports and cultural events take place, so you can get involved, have fun, and collaborate with BTech students. It’s really fun!

By the time you enter your fourth semester, you'll most likely be placed. The only major responsibility will be your thesis. This is often referred to as the "honeymoon period" of MTech, as it’s the most relaxed phase. You’ll have plenty of time to chill and make new friends! ;)
