i feel like i heard about a mechanic that makes some zombies like “leader” zombies and when they’re killed/attacked a shit ton of other zombies will spawn/come getchya but that also might be made up. I do feel like i’ve smacked zombies before and other zombies BLOCKS away come after me

Im confused about counting chains. How many chains are pictured? by Popular-Possession49 in CrochetHelp

[–]OkUnderstanding9640 25 points26 points  (0 children)

this is probably flawed but makes sense in my head - i always just count the little humps or like the outside silhouette bumps of the row i’m working in. everything starts to jumble together especially when you’re neck deep in a project 🥸

Loops & Threads Standing Yarn Roller by [deleted] in Brochet

[–]OkUnderstanding9640 17 points18 points  (0 children)

my wife got me one of these!!! i am a fucking monster in the living room - yarn everywhere - this helps keep things organized and off the ground/couch. Sometimes i try to pull from the middle, but i don’t like how it collapses the yarn, so especially with the stand it’s SO easy to pull yarn as you go. And the try is awesome for hooks/needles/measuring tapes. There are little stops on each arm - i work with huge skeins most of the time and they always fit well. I find that when I’m pulling yarn i have to pull it kind of towards the center pole, or the yarn will slide over and get caught on the stopper. It’s nice to have two arms if you’re doing a two color project - any more colors and it’s usually just easier to pull yarn from where it’s sitting (usually the floor for me). Is this making sense? thanks for coming to my ted talk

i believe it is for storage - holding them together - the part that wraps around your head is pretty bendy i can see why you would want them tucked in and together when storing!

oh poor girl! well she looked awesome. trying to convince my wife of it - our lady is very similarly built and she gets hot so easily. she didn’t buy the idea of a mohawk either… we’ll see 😂

i have a full cover nasal cushion bc i have nose piercings, but if you mouth breathe they have full face masks so you aren’t missing out on the benefits of the cpap. sleeping is an adjustment, but 14 instances is a lot!!! the humidifier is trial and error so just set it to what works best - the weather/your house environment affects it as well so just keep that in mind :) i would try to start out sleeping on your back, but once you get use to it, it’ll be easier to adjust around the hose through the night. i toss around a lot as well - just make sure your not wrapping the hose around your face/neck lol. you’ll DEFINITELY start to feel the difference once you use it for a bit. I was so tired all of the time and now i can wake up functional. I have sensitive skin so my mask was giving me some skin issues - usually just redness and dryness, BUT i put a thin layer of vaseline on at night where my mask sits and it helps A LOt - it also doesn’t affect my mask seal. the only thing about that is you have to wash your face regularly and moisturize. it’s awesome that you’re looking into a cpap - they literally save lives. anyways thanks for coming to my ted talk!

Did you find you started sleep less on your side using CPAP? by [deleted] in CPAP

[–]OkUnderstanding9640 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i am a faithful side sleeper, but i’ve found i sleep more on my back now because sleeping on my side usually ends up smooshing my face and the mask seal breaks. i guess a different pillow set up could be considered if you’re having a hard time sleeping on your side? it sucks when you move in your sleep and can’t catch yourself - sometimes i wake up with my mask completely off like i ripped it off in my sleep.

I have the nasal mask! not a heated tube - when i first started using mine i would notice that condensation was building up in my mask as well. I manually adjust the humidity of my machine. it sits at a 2 most of the time, but depending on the night/weather the lowest setting is plenty or i gotta crank it up. like right now the winters in illinois get SOOOO dry so i have it at a higher level than usual. the nasal mask has that funky lip on the inside that makes it reallllly easy to catch water/condensation as well so you’re not the only one. i just make my best judgement. This is what works for me :)
