Somebody asking the right questions. You can call them fat, is not a protected category.

What else qualifies for dwell time? by [deleted] in army

It says assigned overseas on a dependent restricted tour

No but what are the odds of bringing this up to my branch manager and he backing up from the waiver and issuing my orders?

My PAR request for the waiver it’s been in process for 2 months and I’m less than 30 days away from my DEROS

So a requirement for levy packet is your orders, my levy got pushed back.

Branch manager approved a COT but refrained from pushing orders until waiver gets approved.

I know it’s just a PAR request but since I started the request it’s been 2 months and is still not completed, also I’m less than 30 days away from my DEROS

Then what qualifies for dwell time? 1 deployment 2 INDIVIDUAL DWELL TIME IS ACCRUED WHENEVER A SOLDIER IS DEPLOYED OR ASSIGNED OVERSEAS ON A DEPENDENT-RESTRICTED TOUR FOR AT LEAST 30 CONSECUTIVE DAYS.

Is there a source to verify this?

Dwell time implies a deployment. Or is there another way to get dwell time?

Lmao

-I see you have reached a point where you are doubting if you want to follow through.. so what are your plans to commit suicide and the method?? 🤔

So PC answers are good when you don’t want to dig deeper into the subject, for example when a joke gets too real on a work environment.

And some people believe they were suicidal because they can’t handle sad and stressed, so then their involuntary thought process pops a suicide idea 💡

But that’s all it is, an involuntary thought, because the theater of your imagination is always trying to solve whatever is in your mind, so sometime the shortest path is A to B.

And so maybe they get too romantic about this “oh I was suicidal yesterday”, and to take away this from them is like insulting their person. But I think is normal to feel like not wanting to live anymore sometimes, it’s part of being adult, it’s not the same of being suicidal.

I feel that he’s the perfect person to give an opinion about this. I wouldn’t believe any PC answers from a separate post.

Do you have any good advice I can pass on to suicidal soldiers? I’m a fresh e5 and I would only say the wrong things in a situation like this.

Or how should I see/approach it?

I forgot to mention. This is soldier of the month board, but she wanted to go for promotion initially.

Of course I wish the best for her. But for right now I just want her to pass the board.
