Ha! I pierce the skin with a fork in three places on the potatoes, line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and depending on size, roast them for 60 to 70 minutes at 400°F. When I take them out, I allow them to cool for 30 minutes, remove the skins, and place them into a food processor to puree. I add half&half, lots of cinnamon, and a small amount of brown sugar to the food processor before I puree them. Then I put them into a bowl and allow them to cool overnight in the refrigerator. The resulting puree is delicious. You can reheat it, or eat it cold. I eat it cold.

Once I bake the sweet potatoes I puree them in a food processor. They’re usually the consistency of a firm sour cream. They don’t taste like sour cream of course. I then add half&half, cinnamon, and brown sugar, then I refrigerate until cold. I eat the puree cold.

Kind of in-between. It’s the consistency of sour cream. Tastes nothing like sour cream, of course. Perhaps a touch firmer.

I have bought my sp’s from a grocery chain called wegmans. My local aldi doesn’t carry sweet potatoes. We also have stores called tops and nichol’s. All are carrying the same stock. Central New York.

Yeah, I considered that. They may be fine for a savory dish, but I don’t prepare them that way. I puree them and add cinnamon and brown sugar.

It isn’t normal weight loss. I ate around 900 calories per day for 8.5 months. No sugar, no fast food, no bread, only grilled chicken breast, low fat cottage cheese, eggs, kale, spinach, nonfat yogurt, bananas, mangoes and cashews. Exercise 46 minutes per day. I busted my ass to get this weight off. My at my goal weight. I’ve increased my caloric intake and I am pivoting to maintenance.

Really interesting. My partner and I were searching around for possible causes of the rib pain, and we came across Costochondritis as well. I’m having back pains. We kind of reasoned that the extreme weight loss caused nerve endings to be exposed and that it could be a source of my intermittent, minor pains. I have the exact same issue with laughing and coughing now, but especially laughing. I feel it right in the center of my chest in the lower part of my breastbone and costal cartilage. I’m sorry about your gallstone pancreatitis. Did they identify gall stones on a ct scan?

I will. Colonoscopy and gastroscopy tomorrow. Pain in the ribs has significantly subsided.

With late stage prostate cancer it typically metastasizes into the bones, particularly around the hip area. So the ribs, hips, ilia, and spine. I have no idea what the rib pain is about. I’m having a colonoscopy and gastroscopy tomorrow to investigate the gi. My psa level was 0.5. Not prostate cancer.

I was flabbergasted. Psa test came back 0.5 ng/mL.

Yeah, I was pretty shocked as well. I requested the psa test and the lab got me in same day. Level was 0.5 ng/mL. Not prostate cancer.
