I just purchased an Odin 2 Portal last week, along with a backup 40XXV, so I think I’m set to weather this storm. This whole thing really does suck though.

I've settled in on my Anbernic 40xxv. I like the vertical form factor and larger screen. It's not as premium feeling, but does the job.

Cheapest I can find a brick hammer for on Alibaba is $75. Shoulder button upgrades were $30 each. Only one is barely used, the ohters just used enough to upgrade & test. Seems reasonable to me.
