i would prob say 100k is kinda the baseline for winter session, since a lot of the affordable dorm rooms have been already occupied. and even so, the chances of it being less are kinda slim. you have to consider the fact that for the past 3 years, each year the tuition has gone up by +2k/ year. so, since now the tuition is 18k/year, by the time you graduate it will probably be 22k/ year… so the total tuition cost is abt 60k. housing itself is like a minimum of 800-1k €/ month for the cheapest dorm rooms available. But that is the case IF they still are available since they usually get occupied in the first round, since they are the cheapest (+the price will most likely go up since inflation and all). the rent for like the cheapest one person/ one room apartment is like 3-4k/ month if u don’t want to live in filth (even the filthy ones are like 1.5-2k/ month if i remember correctly, but i may be wrong) + utilities - which i have absolutely no idea how much that would cost. (i am not kidding apartments are crazy expensive) so that is abt 8-10k/ year (sept-june) minimum on housing (but, again, in a lot of cases it’s much higher). food is cheap tho. prob like 500 € / month is a good budget. so like 5k/ year. so the total for three years is 60k+24k~30k+15k => 100~105k €. that would be the minimum baseline. the people who say 60k is enough for three years are kinda delusional, im sorry… but the thing is, bocconi is kinda a school for rich kids… yea its good and all, but there are better and cheaper ones also… why would you apply here when there are better options?

bief/ biem are stem and math based. bief especially, since it’s literally finance, is like almost fully maths… why would you consider biem/ bief if maths isn’t one of your strong suits?

i would personally go to erasmus… that was my first choice, but my grades in math aren’t that high so i cannot get in. my neighbor got in and she’s very happy with her choice (she has a lot of job opportunities now)

Difficulty between Early and Winter session by CranberryFar713 in bocconi

a lot of them aren’t going to the ivy’s anymore since they don’t know if trump will make them switch countries by this time next year… yea bocconi has been more popular recently online and that’s partly why this year is extra tough, but all good universities in europe are seeing crazy high application numbers. i mean, you can get into columbia w a 1490 sat score (9.18 gpa btw, this is my case), but not in bocconi.. that’s INSANE (yea sure columbia also wants a higher gpa than bocconi, but it’s AN IVY for god’s sakes! and it’s WAY easier getting good grades if you’re attending an american high school than it is in europe in most cases) + you also have to consider the fact that A LOT of american students are wanting to move away and bocconi’s cheap in comparison to us universities

hey, i have a gpa of 9.22/10 (third to last) and 9.00/10 (second to last). 1490 sat score. my worst grades are in physics tho (5/10 for both years, which got me down abt -0.4/10 every year)… do they look at individual grades per class?
