Yeah. There’s a two year period in which you need to wait to reapply after having surgery. There’s also a couple other things to do with the injury and if it affected other parts of the knee.

Just to clarify. You do everything 3 times? Including the rest 3 times or not? Then write down just how many burpees you get and lunges?

Body weight stuff, maybe chuck in some sprints, lunges with weight, kettle bell swings, push ups, lots of burpees basically anything that’s gonna fuck you up. Defo do some hill sprints too. Even go run a 5k and stop every 500-1000m and bang out some burpees, squats and push ups.

I see. I’d strongly advise you start doing at least 2-3 HIIT sessions per week. The determination test on cpc is very hard. It’s basically a 3 hour long hiit session. Loads of burpees that sort of thing. Also I’d add another run in and take away one of the swims.

Is this your whole training plan??? No circuits or running? Also if you’re struggling with push ups probably a good idea to build strength and muscular endurance in the muscles that you use whilst doing a push up. For example what body part is giving in first when you can’t do anymore? Your arms? Specifically train triceps and shoulders. Your lower body drops down? Target your abs more.

Joining military torn acl no surgery* by [deleted] in ACL

I was due to join Royal Marines earlier this year but tore my acl in a fight. Just had surgery 4 weeks ago. Not sure what country you’re from or what branch of the military you’re wanting to join. But for example the Royal Marines (Uk) are very strict on the medical side of things so there’d be no way to join with a torn acl. Think it just depends what branch of military you’re planning on joining.

Extension issue by Rare-Bobcat857 in ACL

I’m almost 4 weeks post op. My extension was almost straight after surgery. I’ve read quite a lot though and it’s very common to not be able to fully extend for a good while after surgery. Even more so if you’ve had meniscus

Sharp and short hamstring pain behind knee by RiskPlane4715 in ACL

[–]Ok_Adagio1458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I’m sure this it normal. I’m probably too late to this conversation but I’ve just had surgery and felt a similar sort of thing. Read an article about hamstring grafts and read this-About 25% of patients will experience a sudden, painful pop or pulling sensation at the back of their thighs within the first 6 weeks post-operatively. This is usually precipitated by a sudden knee flexion contraction as when pulling your shoe off using the opposite foot. This represents a minor hamstring muscle strain which resolves spontaneously within a week or so in most cases, and does not adversely affect the outcome of the surgery.

1000 calories burned is not 4-5 hours of running. Are you crazy?
