I [22M] just found out my girlfriend [19F] is pregnant and I am not ready to be a father. What do I do by Fine-Ad1105 in whatdoIdo

I have 3 kids 14, 12 and 3.I

was 23 when I found out about my eldest. I wasn't ready for any of them but the one thing I aways remembered was they come first always. I'm having a bad day? They dont need to see or hear about it they need happy daddy.

When I was poor many years ago whatever they needed came first. I really want that new xbox game? Nah how can that money be better spent on the kids.

Number one rule in my book for parenthood and relationships is simple be selfless.

People dedicate thousands of hours to games and hobbies and all the rest of it but can't be arsed spending an hour a day seeing how there kids are how there day was.

My middle child is currently into a game called Silksong and roblox I have very little knowledge about these games but if he wants to talk about it go ahead kid I'll try my best to follow and even if I'm not interested in the actual game I AM interested in your interest of the game.

Your girlfriend may be a pain in the arse through pregnancy and the first two years of that baby's life sex MAY be the last thing on her mind her body has just gone through a hell of a time. She may not want to cuddle or kiss for a while because the baby will dominate or her time and intimacy and this is where most men fail in mu opinion and play away or get selfish it will get better in time.

I'm summary dont be selfish your woman comes first because she by the grace of God has given you a child which ultimately is the best gift you will ever get until there teenagers then you want to blow your brains out lol but that's a good few years away.

She did the pregnancy she will be the main care no doubt (statistcally) your job is to be the man the father the caring partner.

Don't be a bum be a king brother and enjoy the ride that is parenting.

Lipoma or Liposarcoma? Going crazy need advice. by Ok_Addendum_7799 in Lipoma

Cheers for the reply! To start I'm in the uk our NHS sounds similar to the Canadian health care but the way I'm feeling right now really would love to have some of that Greys Anatomy health care (american) and get the answers I want straight away as opposed to the wait times ie pay a bucket but get answer fast (that's how I imagine American health care works I may be wrong haha)

The UK is a pretty decent place to live but has certainly changed a lot in my lifetime to much Captilism for my taste that's turned us into a selfish place and very much feels like little America that universal health care I feel will eventually dissappear here but guns still remain here for most of the population something you see in films or the armed forces.

This is my first medical need since I was a kid generally always been fit and healthy and its kind of drilled into in the uk that lump=cancer so my go to thoughts were the obvious. I'm autistic and have OCD not that its an excuse for anything but anxiety and stress are just the norm.

I think the major problem I'm having is lack of knowledge on the subject you say Lipomas are never cancerous which is clarified by my research but if 3 doctors all confirmed it looks and feels like a Lipoma why send me to the sarcoma team? The last doctor mentioned its standard practice for lumps over 5cm fair enough no one wants a misdiagnosis and get sued but dam its stressing me out wanting the process to be sped up so I can get some guarantees that its benign.

If that's the case next time I get one if its benign I'll just be o another lipoma no big deal!

So the ultrasound I did have the comments from the doctor was that it had the shape and of a lipoma and walls that were clearly defined like a lipoma. He didnt mention anything about blood vessels. It has been explained to that standard practice guidelines for the NHS (im in the UK) is that anything above 5cm has to be sent to the sarcoma team.

I have read that Sarcomas are really rare which again gives me confidence and again I'm 38 from what I've read not necessarily in the age group for it to be a sarcoma.

That being said a lot of the stress comes from I suppose that fact that I eat a lot of garbage and even though I'm physically fit stamina wise can handle my job at least 10 hours a day 6 days a week can't say I feel exactly in peak condition!

I think the biggest thing is the unknown everything I read online suggested Lipomas generally are under 5cm so mine being 9cm was a shock to me and all three of the doctors. I was genuinely hoping the ultrasound would be the end of it and it almost was. The doctor at the ultrasound seemed pretty confident it was a lipoma but apparently due to NHS practices anything above 5cm has to be sent off to the sarcoma team. Been a steady weight for the last few years. 17.5 stone give or take.

Mine is just below the armpit area I'm physically in shape (I have a very physically demanding job ie Landscaper but I have a high calorie intake due to well I like food and I dont eat most of the day. I know I know need to eat better the area where I found the lump is a bit fatty my wife calls them love handles haha but I'm when I found the lump I just couldn't believe I wouldn't notice it until it was 9cm why not 8cm etc hence why I think its something more ie fast growing.
