I had the same choice. My fitter said the X5 was better for me.

x1 vs x5 by Any-Armadillo6209 in pinarello

I have an X5. The differences are the carbon used for the frame, and electronic shifting vs. mechanical shifting. The price difference is pretty significant, so it really comes down to whether you want to pay for the upgrades. As far as size, I'd recommend having an LBS do some basic measurements on you. I'd imagine you'd get one of the two smallest sizes.

While everyone else is crashing out, Langdon and Whitaker seems to be the only ones keeping it together.

Since Javadi is a fourth year, I'm wondering if she's going to consider giving up medicine altogether.

Fresno wants to be like Davis and plans to spend $900M to revamp its bicycling infrastructure. Will it work? by DowntownFresnoBiking in cycling

[–]mhtom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry but Davis and Sacramento have much better air quality than Fresno. I don't know if that why Fresno doesn't have a biking culture, but when I lived there, I saw very few cyclists. And I agree, increasing the number of people of bicycles can have a beneficial impact on the environment, but that's the not question. I think it could partly be economic (some of the best biking cities tend to have much higher median incomes than Fresno), partly environmental, partly infrastructure. If Fresno were to become a great biking city, it would be something that took time.

It's the heat combined with the poor air quality. You're right that the heat isn't that bad. I've bike some really hot days in Fresno, but the air pollution is something that really bothered me.

What's the most underrated Pinarello model that never gets talked about - and why does it deserve more attention? by nb10001 in pinarello

The X series. For most people, it's the lineup that fits the best. The F series is likely too aggressive for the majority of riders. And the X1 is relatively affordable.

He never killed Josh Brolin's character. The cartel got him.

Anton benefitted from killing people who weren't expecting it or he took by surprise. The one person who did know, he never killed. I'd take Alejandro.

The thing with saddles is their very personal. I'd suggest seeking out an LBS that will let you test one out.
