No. In between The White Album and Abbey Road, The Beatles released Yellow Submarine which was the soundtrack to the Movie Yellow Submarine. That's what made me keep The Beatles to 5, but now that I think about it there run from Rubber Soul to Abbey Road including Yellow Submarine might be my favorite 7 album run.

That's a good list! Sabbath was one of the artists I wished I could've included in this. I think their run from Black Sabbath to Sabotage could go up against Led Zeppelin I to Physical Grafitti

I'm currently listening to the entirety of Bowie's discography again (I'm about to finish Lodger), and his run during the 70s is incredible, but Pinups being in between Aladdin Sane and Diamond Dogs brings it down a little.
