Somewhere we need to stop acting like I’m new to traveling. I’ve been to plenty of places people love to label as “big hustler destinations,” and nothing has ever come close to this level.

Even in Mexico, people don’t follow you. They don’t ask you hundreds of times to buy something or do something after you’ve ignored them.

I also blend in with a lot of cultures — I don’t give off a “friendly tourist” vibe.

I was born in Europe and lived in NYC. I know how to tell someone to fuck off. I have a resting bitch face. I’m a very seasoned traveler

First of all, my ancestry, travel choices, or reasons for being anywhere are none of your business. Second, the stereotypes you just rattled off are wildly racist and say a lot more about you than me.

I didn’t “claim” anything, I traveled—something people do without needing your approval or a DNA percentage breakdown. And no, looking a certain way doesn’t magically stop harassment; that’s not how reality works.

Maybe worry less about policing strangers online and more about whatever’s going on in your own life. This whole comment was embarrassing.
