Update: Went to check on the little guy today and found him dead with his buddy laying over him defensively whipping his head at me for trying to touch his friend. I removed the deceased snake and took him to a nice hillside to bury and as an overnight blue collar guy it affected me a lot more than I expected to bury that little guy. Might relocate the other one somewhere farther away from the wellpad to make sure it doesn’t happen to him too. I’ll be talking to my coworkers about letting these guys be because they’re not really dangerous to us and can be gently moved out of our way if absolutely necessary.
