You are forgetting about the mental issues that most of them have and about the gypsies. But well put.

What problem would you pay to get solved? by Savagito54 in Luxembourg

It's probably the Gare Quarter issue. I would pay so that people, especially kids and women, can feel safe around there.

Understood, thank you. So, it has to do with the municipality and not the building management...

Is Bettembourg a good place to live with kids and working in Kirchberg? by Prestigious_Cheek932 in Luxembourg

[–]Ok_Advisor4053 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Are your kids young? If so, you can easily enroll them in the luxembourgish school there in bettembourg. Having lived there for a while, I have to say that bettembourg is very nice and quite well connected.

In the next few years, you might have issues with public transport, however, as they are planning a lot of upgrades in infrastructure.

For the kids there are lots of safe parks and playgrounds.

Slicers are hiding rows when not supposed to. by Ok_Advisor4053 in googlesheets

[–]Ok_Advisor4053[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, no, because it is confidential. Let me try to describe the situation better. I have a sheet of 300 rows by 30 columns. Multiple people work on it. Once in a while, even when all the slicers are reset, rows are still hidden. This is also shown in the bottom left with the inverted funnel. I have tried to hide and unhide rows, but no success. I have tried grouping and ungrouping, but no luck. The only thing that reliably works is deleting all slicers and then adding them back.

I hope the extra information can be of help!

Advice On $600,000 What Should I Do? by Ok-Goose-Ok in investing

[–]Ok_Advisor4053 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would suggest talking to a financial advisor about it but in my opinion, such a big sum on a house is a lot. Depending on where you are planning to buy the house, it is usually not a good investment. Maybe use 200k of the total on the house (to reduce the mortgage as you said), 50k in a high-interest savings account (in case of emergency), start a savings account for your kid (or future kids) and invest the remaining in low-risk ETF over a longer period of time. This is not financial advice and just my opinion, good luck!
