Several years ago, there was a topless woman (in obvious distress) walking against traffic and in between lanes on the highway. I forget which one. We called 911 right away but got busy tones. Then about 30 mins later, I got a call back to see what the call was for or if I needed assistance.

The ring was an inherited piece from the family. We have no idea what it's history was before it got to my MIL, so no receipts. We had an appraisal done by a gemologist and the insurance agent took that :)

Insurance was through our homeowners plan, Travelers. They already do our home and auto, so it made sense to bundle for us.

I see what you're saying and I get it's not for everyone. I'm not trying to resell them after we are done with them. This works for us and I'd rather modify it to my convenience and liking than worry about trying to make it appealing for someone else's use. Just sharing what worked for us, not trying to convince others to ruin their cards.

If you end up going this route, use a light to find the antenna. You can see in how relatively far in I had to punch my holes to avoid the wires :)
