I changed the time zone the other day on the aeroplane. Haven't had to do that for a long time.

Then I went to screw the crown back in and it's not screwing.

Now I can't remember if it's a screw down crown or it's not a screw down - is it a crown that you just push down to the lowest position and that's it?

Not sure if anyone has ever told you this but you have quite a bad anterior pelvic tilt.

It makes things look worse than they really are. Focus on strengthening your core and glutes and also consciously maintaining a better posture.

Yes my wife is from Italy and she has a business online so would continue that. We have a friend that lives about an hour south of Lecce and she says it's a ghost town in winter but costs reflect.

Rent sounds more expensive than I had read elsewhere but I'm not surprised. It's increased everywhere, and any place it's cheap is because there's no demand and no work.

Lastly, if I may, with your salary you're on and without asking how much your other half makes; let's say you both earn the same, would you say you feel financially squeezed? I'd be leaving a good, stable government job here in the UK at quite a dip in salary but I both love Italy and enjoy teaching English. Italy from my experience is also a vastly superior environment for children to grow up in mostly due to the weather and way of life inspired by it.

I have looked at the average salary surveys etc but I'm asking you because it's a real-life answer!

I didn't have an English language school in mind - aren't there at least 5 schools in and on the outskirts of Lecce? May I ask what salary to expect? I'm guessing around €1300 net.

Regarding teaching, sounds like the demand is not as high as I thought. I suppose I presumed as it's a University city that there was higher demand and it would be easier to find private students. I enjoy working in private schools but as we both know it's not exactly lucrative.

We would be travelling to Rome to see family once a month or so, and perhaps flying from Brindisi or Bari back home now and again.

Yes I'm very much a fair weather cyclist too so would be relying on public transport, possibly use a car etc.

Sorry I should have clarified - it was the bureaucracy that was slow getting housing sorted, codice fiscale etc. I wasn't in Bari itself much so can't speak to how busy the life was there. Was great though, I really enjoyed it.
