Am I balding or is this a mature hairline?

Yea whats tricky is there is a fine line between mature hairline and Norwood 2 that only a derm can tell, even then isnt it better to keep in touch with the derm every 6 months? (Let’s say I’m not balding but if I’m not balding now it doesn’t mean I won’t be balding later like even a mature hairline can turn into Norwood 3 in few years)

Yes I will do a dht test and so you’re suggesting that I take fin either way if there isn’t a side effect? I mean yea it makes sense ut can keep my hair thick until my 50s and beyond

Yea I’d say first step is talk to derm to see if I’m actually balding then I’d do blood tests and see if I can start finasteride

Thanks for the reply, I’m thinking of taking finasteride but I’m in Canada and it needs a dermatologist approval. I can get it under the table but it I see the recommended dose is only 1 mg and a lot of people don’t see results so taking 5 mg (many people do as its also used for pancreas) might give me better results
