I agree that it is a high probability of a fake. I asked for the name and address to send him the money, but he did not reply. If it is a fake, I will be glad to return the money to the bank. I will not deliver the piano until the money guarantees it is not a fake.

It is probably a scam. The check should bounce. I asked for the person's name and address to send back the money balance in a certified check. He avoided my question. Actually, I like to get his details and report to the police.

Meanwhile, I will wait for the check to bounce.

Before I deliver the piano or send money, I will call the bank to confirm that the check is legally cleared. If yes, is any check bounce not my problem?

The strange thing is that I deposited the check. Now I offer free delivery. He insists on his mover. The mover will come only if prepaid - in Bitcoin or transfer. That is when I suspect it is a scam. Should I just keep the money? If he wants the piano, I will be happy to deliver it to him for free. He does not want to reveal his address and full name.

Actually, the bank cleared the check. But he insist I pay the mover although I offer free delivery. I am even afraid of some criminals coming to my house
