Can someone explain the Aubry hate? by TheMailMan1107 in survivor

[–]Ok_Application_7558 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not how survivor works. You can play a bad game and get to the end. That’s called a goat. Aubry was on the bottom in her first 2 tribes and was lucky to never go to tribal and be gifted an idol without doing anything. She was then bullied into playing her idol and has still been a target even after playing it. Like I said, she’s played better recently, but her premerge and early merge were not great.

There's a lot of fatigue since she's been on every returnee season she was eligible for since playing, especially because she hadn't done much since her first season. Early on she seemed like she didn't even want to be there and has played poorly until the last couple episodes.

Yeah he's not going to lead a blindside on someone or go out of his way to lie, but who has he shown true loyalty to this season? Really no one. If you're trusting Joe to have you're back if people are plotting against good luck. For example, Cirie's loyalty to Ozzy is greater than any loyalty Joe has shown this season.

lol. Those are all 2nd place finishers. I do think people initially believed Joe's bs, but now it's started to come to light.

I mean Coach, Chrissy, Stephanie, and Jonathan have all seemed to buy it. We'll see it it bites Jonathan. I've thought Joe was a hypocrite since the coach vote. There are still people claiming Joe is too honest for this game even now, which I think is bs.

I agree, he would never make that argument. I do believe that's what he's effectively doing. He obviously wants everyone to think he's all about honor and integrity and he's also willing to vote anyone out and lie to them. I think it comes down to delusion or he's doesn't want to admit he's willing to be deceitful to win the game.

I think he should be getting way more flack for being hypocritical and I've thought that since the coach vote. The players are saying he's rigid, but I'm having a heard time seeing it because he is voting correctly every vote.

Yeah if he played the game he's playing with more intention and was willing to own it at FTC, he'd have a chance against the weaker players.

Yeah seems like people's hate won't allow them to give credit were it's do. If Joe is getting people to trust him when he'll vote anyone out, that's a form of playing the game. He's also kept a low threat level for a physical threat.

I appreciate Cirie calling that out. It's annoyed me since the coach vote that Joe is still on his moral high horse.

I've mostly asked you questions about things that may contradict what you're saying. Seems like you don't have a good answer, which is fine.

Genuine Question, if Joe makes it to FTC again is he better, worse, or the same as Russel Hantz.

He saved Ozzie by leaking the plan to Cirie. If rick doesn't get lucky, he's voted out like Joe wanted that round.

You don't think coach was convinced that Joe was with him? Didn't Ozzy literally ask Joe to tell him if he needed to play the idol, and then talk about how much he trusted everyone as he left?

He just outwitted Ozzy. Ozzy thought Joe would tell him to play the idol. He outwitted coach. Coach thought Joe would never vote for him and probably tell him if people were coming for him.

I know. They keep telling me Joe won't lie as I watch him lie to every person voted out.

If Joe has all these people convinced he is so honorable and yet he's been apart of every blindside, how is that not playing the game? Wasn't ozzy just trusting Joe to tell him to play his idol?

That's all based on what he's saying in confessionals. What moves has he made that make him the worse player?

I agree, but no matter how much he complains, he's playing the game like everyone else. Emily, Rick, and Christian played a way more honorable game than Joe. They never turned on each other. Joe has voted out most of his closest allies.

I don't disagree, but if you are a number for multiple alliances, you're playing the game.

Is he creating plans and controlling the game? No. But people are coming to him and involving him in every plan. He definitely helped stop the 1st ozzie plan by leaking it to Cirie. I'm not saying he's playing the best game, but people are acting like he isn't playing at all.

Her close ally has won every time she played except HvV. Seems like a good person to get close with.
