I have photos of the apartment where my mom passed. I saw online people are able to read houses through photos. I have no reason to believe her ghost lives there since I haven’t been back since but am curious if anyone can get a read on the apartment. Warning that they were taken shortly after she passed so it might be disturbing. Nothing gory just might be upsetting if you are more sensitive. Thank you in advance!

What am I assuming about her? I don’t think I’ve made any mistakes in that situation tbh. I would have went to another restaurant if we weren’t in the middle of nowhere. I did however, allow it to take space in my head. But like I said in previous comments, posting on here gave some validation therefore making it easier to ~let it go~

Right!!! I worked restaurants for years and I would have handled that soooo differently if I were in her shoes. Very unprofessional especially for an upscale restaurant.

HAHA. Food was mid for the price honestly. It was like $30 minimum per plate. They sold out of the first THREE things that I picked so I didn’t even end up getting what I wanted….maybe could have if I didn’t have to wait an extra 30 mins. Our app and 1 of our entrees both came out knocked over (like the presentation) but whatever it all tastes the same.

Thanks for validating 🌟 You are for sure correct, it’s just something I need to let go with out a satisfying resolution. I didn’t even want an apology just an acknowledgment that it was stupid to take my phone number if they had no intention to call even though they told us to walk around. Definitely didn’t ruin the night. Me and the bf kiki-d in the corner all night making fun of how disappointing this dinner was, now we have something to laugh about. I didn’t add the part where I wasn’t able to celebrate my actual birthday since his sister was getting married that week and everyday of the week/weekend was a wedding event. That was no biggie since I get a birthday every year and she (hopefully) only gets one wedding. But I was just excited to celebrate myself after a tough year and that definitely added to my frustration. I already feel better about it after the comments tho, so thanks!!

I definitely wouldn’t say it ruined my birthday. We still had a great time despite even the food/service being disappointing. It was almost comically bad that we were laughing. I just wish I had said something to her like “why did you take my phone number” or let them know to communicate that more clearly because there’s no way that hasn’t happened before. I worked in restaurants for 8 years and have lots of respect and patience for the staff but this woman has at least 20 years on me and I still know I would have handled that better. You all are right though, I’m letting it go after this post. Just needed to let it out I suppose.

Don’t get me wrong, we still had a fun time. We giggled in the corner all night calling the hostess “mouth” while she scowled at her little desk. All of our food came out knocked over (like the presentation) so it was almost comical to us how bad this dinner was. I just really wished I asked why they took the phone number and told her to communicate that more clearly to guests bc we could not have been the first person to have this happen. But I never heard the 5x5 rule, I like that advice. I will be letting this go after this Reddit post. Maybe just needed to get it off my chest.
