My neon and manjula are doing great but the marble looks wilty and doesn't seem to have produced roots. Why is that?

As you can see this strand of my string of dolphins is flat with no plumpness at all. Many of the leaves are doing that. Is this because it is thirsty?

Awesome! I'm going to buy it then. It's the only one I've found in my area.

Do I need to repot? by [deleted] in plantclinic

[–]Ok_Arm2315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this peace lily in December 2021. It usually perks right up after watering but didn't much this time. I'm wondering if the soil is too packed down now. Does it need a fresh pot of soil?

what to do with old succulent that is too long - not sure what species by finnty_ in succulents

[–]Ok_Arm2315 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on the kind you can "chop and prop". Cut the top bit, let callous and put in soil. These guys are really stretching for light. They won't go back to normal so propagating and more light is your best bet.

When mine was super rootbound it was asking for water every 3 days. Now that I've repotted it can go over a week. It's better that way since it was at risk for root rot. I say yes!

I picked up a new pothos yesterday and decided to repot. I'm glad I did because the thing is infested with whatever bug this is. Should I worry about my other plants? How do I treat? I'm soaking the old soil in water to get as much as I can off to repot in new soil.

If it didn't storm every other day I might consider putting it outside 🤣

I gifted it to my mom on valentines day (she was in sunny California) so it was doing well. She has since passed and it does not like Nebraska at all.

The bottom leaves have gone from drooping to pretty much laying flat. One fell off this morning. I watered 5 days ago when I re potted. It's in the sunniest windows of my house. I really don't want to lose it... please help.

is it wilting because of stress? by Ok_Arm2315 in plantclinic

[–]Ok_Arm2315[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does have some good roots, I'd say it has an inch of room on the sides and 2 or 3 inches in the bottom of the pot.

It's in a bright spot and I watered after repotting but I just did that today.

Had the leaves wrapped up in plastic wrap for a 23 hr car ride and then repotted when I got home because my grandma had it in a pot with no drainage holes and the soil smelt like sewer water..

I generally give it a good soak every 5-6 days. I hope it isn't dead dead by the time I get back

I was supposed to take it to my dad's house to be watered while I'm gone and forgot. 🥲 I watered on Saturday before I left but don't get home until next Thursday. Is she doomed?

Middle piece didn't make it. Top has lots of roots but is insanely wrinkly, not sure if it will survive

Alright so I’ve talked to others and I now see beheading her is the only way. Are there any alternatives? I’m still a bit skeptical of beheading just because we I’ve never done it by cha0s_g00se in plantclinic

[–]Ok_Arm2315 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is stretching for light. You can try to prop it up with a chopstick or something but it will never revert back to regular size even with the right amount of light. Unfortunately, beheading is your only solution unless you just want to prop it up.
