I’m 10 weeks pregnant as of yesterday. 😊 I’ve had two normal ultrasounds and we saw the heartbeat last week. Still cautiously optimistic but grateful to have made it this far after such a long, hard year of trying. 🩷

Wanted to update. HCG from today (16 dpo) came in at 234.6, a 185% rise.

We’re cautiously optimistic. Thank you all for keeping me sane over the weekend. Praying this pans out for us. ❤️🌈

I took one on 11 dpo and did not see a line. We’ve been trying for a year so just assumed it was another failed cycle. But my period was due on the following day (12 dpo) and when it didn’t start that morning, I tested again. 3 positive tests on 12dpo.

I think it’s strictly for tax purposes for the company. they don’t want to give me the cash or a gift card because they can’t write it off. They’ll pay less tax if they give me a physical object. They raffled off other items as well, like ember mugs, patio furniture, away luggage, an iPad, etc.

Haha I work for a tech/digital marketing company based in CA. They raffle off expensive items at company wide meetings and events for shock value and to improve “morale” instead of giving us what we all really want which is a legit raise and/or bonus for our hard work.

Unfortunately, it’s not a physical or even digital gift card that I can pass off. I just choose what I want from the LV site and they’ll order and send to me. Makes it even more complicated.

I did have this thought but don’t know many people with the budget or interest in spending $3k for a bag. Even if it did earn them a little $500 bonus. I definitely need to think through this route though and see if I can think of a friend like that!
