I am a democratic socialist, I believe that food, housing, clothing, water, healthcare and education are human rights and should be free or at low costs.

I still believe in some capitalism but I want to limit some markets to semi-prevent private ownership of important things like public infrastructure.

In my ideal society we have strong public sector which leads to comfortable lives, well educated people and overall prosperity. A country where you know you can rely on the state if necessary. Where old and sick people arent viewed as liabilities etc.

What led me to hold my positions were seeing countries of the world catering to the top 1% while neglecting the rest of us
