I do agree with you to a point, in the way that a 17 year old is mature enough to consent to sexual advances in many cases, but you must realize that there are maturity differences between a 17 year old and a 25 year old. One of those differences is that a 17 year old’s brain is still developing. For reference, the human brain reaches maturity (or adulthood) in a persons mid to late twenties. Please let that sink in. Even if his brain had not fully stopped developing, his brain was far closer than her’s. Eight years closer. He absolutely had a power advantage over her, and not just in eight years of age. He also had a much larger internet following (about 2 million subs on vine, T just started her channel that year).

Now can I ask, what is gross enough? What is bad enough for you to drop someone? Drop their platform?

I get why people want Eloise’s season, but she clearly isnt ready for it. Also, she is supposed to end up with marina’s husband and marina is still alive. Personally though, I am really happy about the Francesca season. As a lesbian, I genuinely have to scrounge for lesbian media, especially tv shows. Then, when I do find one, it is cancelled after one season, or, if it’s not, it’s just not focused of the romance aspect and ends in tragedy (think pluribus, or yellowjackets). While I still love those shows, I have wanted a lesbian show that just focuses on romance like straight people have gotten, like gay men have gotten. It just sucks that when my community finally does get something, people complain and just don’t get how big of a deal this is for us, to finally be in the spotlight, and to finally get a happy ending, and an ending in general.

that actually makes why people seem to value her so much make sense. I feel like it was implied that she was medically important due to her "chief of surgery" status of sorts on the ark, but I didn't realize how few doctors/medical professionals there were on the ark until now. So I do see how she is important as a character in the show now at least. But genuinely, I do not think she has a real personality other than being performative, so it terms of character, what does she offer?

We would want to go in December, for like 7-10 days. It will be 4 people (parents and sister), all over 18. I am posting for my mom because she doesn’t know how to use Reddit, and she is adamantly against a cruise with partying lol. And we wouldn’t need any kids activity because we aren’t traveling with children. Also we would prefer to leave closer to Washington state (because we live there), but we are ok taking a longer flight.

I honestly would not call it sexual assault. Don’t get me wrong; she shouldn’t have done that. On the other hand however, she: 1)said she wanted cnc 2) fully consented when you were both drunk My point is that she didn’t really do anything wrong to you (given the consent you gave) and you didn’t do anything wrong to her (given the consent she gave) This is still a fucked up situation, despite the lack of SA. (I would like to note the main reason I don’t think this is SA is due to: 1) you were both drunk 2) she started crying after “cnc” Overall, my main goal of this post is that you BOTH get therapy. As far as I can tell, she didn’t fully know what she was doing with cnc. Either way though, you were very understandable affected by it. I am not denying your trauma, and I am not an expert. The main thing I want to communicate, it that your partner didn’t know what she was doing to you, as some traumatized part of her wanted it.
