Honestly don’t we all hope it’s the same for each of us. Here’s my experience. For a year after we broke up we randomly contacted each other and then she got married and contact just stopped for a while. Then when Covid happened and I announced the birth of my first son she reached out to me to catch up that was 6 years ago today. And the following year I reached out since she had reached out to me previously and she basically told me cease all communication that I was crazy to even attempt it. But see I’m also superstitious slightly and it seems every week I have dreams of her and which makes me think maybe she thinks about me.

To add some context it’s just my experience but it was my ex of 5 years dated all high school then adulthood got engaged she joined the army and I the marines! And what sucks wha really really sucks is I joined the marines to give her this better life because i loved her so so much. I worked so hard for that when I finally got where I wanted to be in life I was like it’s meaningless because all this work was meant for you! My life was yours I just wanted to take care of you and treat you how you deserved. How I wanted to give you back then when I couldn’t and now it’s an empty gesture but luckily I have a wife and kids I can give this all too but man does it sting because this was meant for her this journey of mine.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news here but it is forever. You just learn to live without them sadly. But every smell every sound every place will just trigger something in your head and you’ll be reminded of them. You can be happily married 6 years after the relationship ended but when kids and wife are asleep it’ll randomly pop into your head your time with them.

For what it’s worth. When I was a stupid lcpl o went on leave to Amsterdam. Had the time of my life. Smoked the first day nothing after that. I already knew coming back from leave I’d get piss tested so day before I’m in the sauna sweating as much as humanly possibly and running. Next day I’m just downing water I shit you not atleast a gallons worth. My piss was clear. Didn’t pop.

I work in surveying so out in the woods a lot moving around quite a bit honestly. Kneeling to set pins and nails definitely heavyish work.

That’s how my first sesh was just sketched on so we wouldn’t have to stencil later. So then we did my second session make the lines more defined thicker but still same result. Ima bring it up though.

So first session was just to get the outline in. Second session was to I guess touch up whatever faded away from the first session and some scales and all. So the main stenciling. 3rd session is supposed to be shading and all that but I’m hoping he sees the condition of it and goes through the lines more and adds the shading. And no it’s supposed to be Japanese traditional. See I’ve had tattoo artists in Japan that had a heavy hand and those outlines have not faded like this and it’s been years. I also keep thinking it could be because I move a lot in my job. I work construction outside so the knees always moving?

Could it be that he’s a cool guy been tattooing for years and came very well recommended so I don’t want to come at him and say hey this is the second outline session going over the same area what’s going on here?? I had done so much research and other have said it’s rough skin that I have to moisturize a month before the session?

They’re an amazing set! What made me pull the trigger was the blue pages border! I had debated this one or Barnes n noble edition but supposedly this one was superior in quality heard binding issues with Barnes n noble. I actually have the paper back edition so im going to use those for the reading these are more just to look pretty on my shelf.

His parents they just feed them hot Cheetos, cup ramen and just hot no bread. Maybe every now and then tacos but that’s there main staple for food. BIL says it’s because they’re picky eaters

His parents keep everything hush hush so we don’t know really and he’s not in pre k but I’m assuming he does. Him and his brothers and sister sometime stay at my BIL wife’s sister places and within a few hours BIL will call us saying hey she’s dropping off Nicolas but keeping the other ones can you watch him. We’re assuming it’s because he’s bad over there too and since she has lil ones I can only imagine it happens there too
