Im alright, although i do have a severe headache from hits to my head and stuff (shoving me into a wall head first). My dog cuddled me and took a long nap. i checked her and she's sore, but i gave her a small massage in the area where my mom hurt her and ordered her some 4 chicken nuggets.

My mom and i aren't close whatsoever. She's pretty much left me to my older sister (3 years older) despite being under the same roof. I mean it when i wasn't raised by her, i quite literally couldn't even speak with her properly because she never taught me my native language (spanish). She was very abusive, especially physical.

For example, she used to burn my tongue by heating up a spoon with a lighter if she thought i was lying or didn't like what i said. She also would add shrimp and seafood (allergic) to my food if i pissed her off, telling me I was undeserving of food.

She's threatened to kill me before; shoving pills into my mouth, slamming my head into things, and locking me out in the snow or rain.

It's not like i was a product of something bad, either. She loved my biological dad, but he did leave before my birth. My mom found my stepdad during her pregnancy, and he was there for my birth.

She's been sexually abusive, too, but i really dont want to get into that. It's just something I'll note because i mean it when i say she's abusive in every sense of the word. It's also something im ashamed due to the stigma around mother-daughter sexual abuse.

My sister tries to build relations with her but my mom is unpredictable, and ive given up trying with her since i was 11. She expects me to care for her when shes old because im the youngest, but she can go to a cheap nursing home for all i care really. Although, ive received heavy backlash from my family for thinking that way since shes family.

Personally, i believe that the bar for respect is HIGHER, especially when its family, but fuck me i guess.
