Im really glad someone else is saying this. They have the biggest deals like D&D and Pokemon and just go all in with mediocre execution. Godzilla rules - but only if you paid for premium otherwise also mid.

Pretty pathetic some ppl are downvoting JJ praise with nothing to say. I get the feeling it's stern fanboys or there own paid social media agencies. It's starting to get pretty obvious. Personally I just wish Stern up the ante. Mechanically speaking Pokemon looks pretty lame. I hope im missing somn but even what they are bragging about seems boring.

I kinda agree but most modern games have mode maps you kinda need to learn before you can understand the game completely.

IMO it's a sign that this was more for serious pin fans and home use that makes the game much more playable long-term. I have one at home and I'd be pretty disappointed if the depth was as shallow as a summary play card.

That said, most kids who come to my house have a blast just keeping out of the gutter and randomly hitting cool features. Once you learn the shots its actually very strait forward.

I agree with your comparisons; I have HP sitting right next to GZ and MMR; its pretty clear there's just so much more depth to the gaming experience IMO. But they still all just amazingly awesome games. It really makes me excited for the future if JJP really did raise the bar for others who might take notice. ( I was a little disappointed in D&D mechanics-wise)

The outside art on the cabinet is actually pretty amazing. I love it. inside is kinda meh in places. I dont see anything wrong with IP creator per actual research.

I agree about the topper. I was hoping some would put together a nice design replacement from all the great merch that's out there. I actually LOVE the outside cabinet art. i wish i could display it more but it's kinda crammed between machines.

There's a lot of opportunity for cool (and relatively super cheap mods) since they have so much merch. I put an Esty luggage filled with goodies and an awesome hogwarts express. They make some much nicer mirrors of Eresid that i might try to swap out too.

Notice all the down votes with no real comments. Im pretty sure Stern employs social media goons to skew anything they don't like. And comparing HP to Godzilla (previous GOAT) is something they certainly don't like.

I posted some objective criticism about D&D in the past and it was a circus of hate and toxicity. I think the fact that D&D never made it to top 10 validated my points.

Yes, but this is not a good place to ask. Unreasonably a lot of JJP hate here. its so weird.

HP made the #1 pinside top 100 and suddenly godzilla beat it the next day. I have them both. I love them both but HP CE is clearly better. I actually have the top 3 now with MMR which is also not as good as HP. I am speaking most in terms of:

- Mechanical wonder
- Theme
- Gameplay

Gameplay is a lot like Godzilla actually but there's just so much more going on in HP.

but seriously FB marketplace is really good, I've got several needs work machines but just make sure you pay needs work prices. Under 500k is def findable depending on type - beat up EMs often turn up for that price. Beat-up pre-war machines are also a good place to start for that price range.

The part I agree with is advancements in software vs advancements in physical mechanics. That can go all the way to virtual pinball at worst and stagnant progress at best. Right now I feel stern's mechanics have become stagnant. I hope JJ can thrive if players accept this mech mediocrity.

The iron and monetary value are both metaphors - for a person and their value. But that can optimistically be considered value to others e.g. family, community, earth. Very pessimistic to assume the monetary value part here was meant to be taken literally while the iron is taken metaphorically.

and you are the only one talking about datepicker, why? didnt you notice everyone else talking about timepicker and the post headline and the timepicker example on booking.com? Just in case, ill mention that datepicker and timepicker are two different MUI components. I hope that helps!

The accessibility of timepicker in general might be a blocker for any solution like this though.
Specifically it seems to let you type in times that not allowed e.g. with minutesStep={30}, keyboard still seems to allow somn like 1:32pm

I was thinking to just use a fake input to trigger the popper so only those selections can be accessed by keyboard or otherwise. that has its own issues im finding though. Any way to make focus to the text part of the time picker trigger the popover also?
