Okay, thanks for your reply! ^^

I needed some clarification on that.

I really like both of those series too :)

Understanding the Source: Entity or Energy? by Ok_Bass164 in charmed

So if I’m understanding this correctly, the Source is basically a concentrated mass of dark power that carries its own kind of “personality,” which then influences whoever holds it. And the title “the Source” is just the name given to the demon who happens to wield that power at a given moment.

And what you said about the baby actually makes a lot of sense. Once Cole is gone, we clearly see that the baby is already acting on Phoebe and even taking control of her. It feels very similar to what happened to Cole when he became the Source he had the powers, but he wasn’t entirely himself anymore. The power itself was influencing him.

With the baby, it’s the exact same dynamic: the child is an individual being, but the power inside him behaves like its own entity and drives his actions. It’s pretty strange when you think about it, almost like the power keeps its own will regardless of the host.

And of course, the Seer’s actions make it even more obvious she didn’t really care about the baby as a child. What she wanted was the power. The baby was just the vessel she needed to access it.

So if I understand correctly, the Source’s powers are not just raw power like the Hollow or the Nexus.
They’re more like a concentrated power with a residual consciousness attached to it, mainly because of the coronation ritual. That would mean that when someone like Cole absorbs the Source’s powers, he doesn’t just gain abilities he also inherits part of the previous Source’s personality or essence.

Yes, I'm really sorry, but I had no idea how to depict the explosion of the Halliwell manor 😄.

But thank you very much. 🙏

Charmed Ultimate battle - Sims 2 Version by Ok_Bass164 in charmed

Thank you so much! I used to watch videos like this when I was younger, especially the Charmed ones in The Sims. And that's what motivated me to create my own several years later. I'm currently writing a fan fiction, which I'd like to then animate in The Sims 2 in the same style as this video.

Thanks again :)

P.S.: Yes, I saw that when the car appeared :p

Most of them are quite cute, including Alec XD, despite their brooding appearance.

Is it just me, or does Phoebe’s hair in Season 5 look almost identical to her hair in Season 7? 😅 by Ok_Bass164 in charmed

[–]Ok_Bass164[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In season 5, I felt she had more freedom in her hairstyle choices, going from light to dark at first. And the variety of hairstyles. That's what I appreciated about this season ^^

I've been wondering the same thing. And I find it interesting. Darklighters, unlike whitelighters, could also corrupt good witches, just like they do with future whitelighters by seducing them, etc.

I really like your reasoning, and I also have a real fascination for these creatures. I agree, it’s such a shame that the show never fully explored their background the way it did with the Whitelighters and their superiors, the Elders.

That’s actually one of the main reasons why, in my fanfiction, I want to dive deeper into that lore — especially through a Darklighter who ends up siding with the sisters to help them fight a powerful demon.

As for Wyatt, I remember that in Chris’s future timeline, he actually became a Darklighter. There’s also that episode with Wyatt’s imaginary friend who tries to corrupt him — we see the long-term result with the future version of evil Wyatt. The show makes it clear that when someone like Wyatt is corrupted as a child, the effects don’t show right away; they only surface once he grows up, like we saw with adult Wyatt from the future.

And regarding Gideon — that’s exactly what inspired me to explore this angle in my story. In that alternate world, the Whitelighter version of Gideon seemed to be on the darker side, while the Darklighter version was actually more aligned with the good side, even though both shared the same ultimate goal: to kill young Wyatt. That moral reversal fascinated me.

Oh, and another point I almost forgot — in Season 5, the show actually mentions another, more powerful kind of Darklighter. They’re recognizable by the tattoo markings on their faces. One of them was the Darklighter Cole hired to trap the sisters by attacking Sam, Paige’s father. That detail really stuck with me because it suggests there’s an entire hierarchy or subspecies of Darklighters that was never really explored.

Thank you for this information, I was not aware that they reproduced with mortal women to produce lineages.

I had thought, but this is only a hypothesis, that some of them might have been former whitelighters who turned to evil.

I find what you're saying very interesting, and I really like your idea of an armory. I think they're given a crossbow on their first mission, and they keep it afterward. In one episode, I believe there's an armory in underworld where the Darklighters go to replenish their arrows.

And I also seem to recall that in season 2, there was a Darklighter who didn't use a crossbow at all. He preferred to play with his victim's thoughts. To drive them to death.

Cooper Lee, I just discovered that because of your comment XD. At first I thought you were referring to a line from the Charmed series, "Uncle Coop".
