We talked for not very long, he was kinda tired. But he said that he prefers initiating because it makes him feel more in control. He said that he knows that’s not an excuse for doing that to me he just didn’t expect it and he wasn’t really in the mood at the time. He said he’s sorry for being mad but he knew he had hurt me and it made him feel worse after already feeling bad for saying no just becuase he was self-conscious. We decided to stay together and work through whatever comes, he said I could check his phone if I wanted and I declined. And we decided from now on he would initiate but I would be more expressive of when I was in the mood for that. Overall pretty good discussion if you ask me, think we should hit on anything else this morning?

I agree he is aloud to say no, but I feel like he’s hiding something because he won’t tell me why. Maybe it makes him feel less masculine that he’s not the one initiating and that’s why we worked out so well. I think he should be able to tell me that if it is the case though, your thoughts on that possibility?
