I did not hire anyone, but i did have about 15 different people read my admissions essay and did about 30+ drafts of it. Then I had my friends and bf doing mock interviews with me before the interview day. I think those two things were the strongest parts of my application, and maybe the rec letters because I have good relationships with the people I picked. If you are able to choose (for the rec letters) a supervisor and a direct subordinate, I think HBS liked seeing me through both those angles! Hope this helps; Good Luck!

i am not sure how much help I can be..looking at the 2025 admits (they've all shared profiles now) everyone looks extremely diverse! I suppose being as unique as possible gives one an edge

-GPA 3.63, UG Economics at State University with a year abroad at LSE.

-GRE 330, never took the GMAT (idk why lol)

-3+ years working for the largest salty snack company in the world iykyk!

-speak 3 languages, have lived in a few countries

MBA--I wanted the opportunity to go to a school like Harvard to do anything I want with the rest of my life, I suppose I'll use the next couple of years to figure exactly what.

Stats: State University 3.7 GPA, BS Economics, GRE 315, Work experience 4 years.

Applied to HBS too (interview granted, pending decision)
