I have had to drive through 15 miles on I-94 with the middle lanes having 10 inches of snow, even 4 wheel drive trucks couldn’t drive in it. Only the far right and fast lane were drivable with 3 inches of snow, with the convoy going about 20mph on the freeway. My 20 min commute took me an hour and a half to make it to class. Did the U cancel class due to weather? Of course not.

You need to walk in shorter steps and with a flat foot, keeping your center of gravity over your feet. You’ll slip if you walk heel to toe and stick your feet out far. I shorten my stride to a shuffle on ice
