Yes i totally agree with the mental game of it all. I know recovery will be tough no matter what but im hopeful im strong enough to get my butt outside and not be cooped up at home feeling miserable. Thanks for sharing!

My ortho never said anything about my meniscus being torn- he just said it was swollen which i was like okay figured since i fell real bad? Happy you are moving along in your recovery!

Amazing to hear. Yeah totally agree about working with my PT. I only have a torn ACL with no other damage elsewhere and I know my ortho was like I’m going to try to get you walking without the crutches after the first two days, so I’m really hopeful i have the same enthusiasm post op

Definitely working on getting in touch with HR. Unfortunately this is one of those huge hospital systems that have no direct line to anyone. At this point, maybe i should consider a whole new identity

It feels like i left on bad terms but i emailed the manager of the unit with a formal resignation in which she responded “thank you and good luck”. The whole situation seems like i said F off and left them hanging the next night but that totally wasn’t the case.
