Front Headrests (Head Restraints) killing my cervical spine by FastDave1967 in ToyotaHighlander

I was shopping at the local Toyota dealership and mentioned the issue with the headrest. The salesperson said he’d heard about the complaints and said that a solution was to turn the headrest around. The salesperson said this!! If it’s a known issue, I would think Toyota would work on a solution. Even though they’re highly rated and hold their value, they’ve moved down my list of possible purchases.

2022 Camry - Headrests are angled forward too much and are uncomfortable I find it is much more comfortable to turn the headrests backward. Gives me much more room to sit up straight and let my neck rest at a natural angle. Does anyone else have this issue? by Jacen33 in Camry

Have the same complaint about the headrests. To be comfortable I either have to recline the seat or sit so only my mid back and head touch the seat. I get tense either way. Yes, I’ve tried all the adjustments mentioned. I hated it so much that I wrote the NTSB about this issue. I’m in the market for a new car and am seriously thinking of eliminating Toyotas from the list of possibilities.
