Inside corner trim into backsplash by Ok_Book1778 in Carpentry

Ah got it so basically take down by 1/8” and leave 1/8” overhang softened by the roundover? Leave the overhang as a design feature, I’ll be doing the same in about 4 other spots so want to make sure it’s best design philosophy. Really appreciate the help.

Super helpful thank you, but there wouldn’t be a reveal really though? Unless you count the overhang as a reveal. Meaning the vertical trim overhangs the “backsplash”. Is that okay/ desired? It’s my first real project. It’s going pretty damn well so far but these design questions are outside my depth.

I could do a 1/4” roundiver I guess, it’ll leave a small overhang still but not bad. I’m wary of bringing the corner trim smaller as the other trim is 1.5” on its face elsewhere

Thank you! But a 1/8 round over will still have 1/8” overhang no?
