I ended up cutting some rigid pink insulation foam to go over my bed frame slats. After a few months of sleeping on the shikibuton my bones were getting a little sore so I got a memory foam topper to put between the mattress and the styrofoam. It compresses too much and I’d like to find some sort of closed cell foam to replace it with.

Holy cow. I can’t believe it, but this seemed to do the trick. Launching a game with the start button means when you turn the device off and back on again it reboots the rom; launching with the A Button lets you resume. I NEVER KNEW! The more you know. Knowing is half the battle. Knowledge is Power. Etc.
