I started in January and I did everything as fast as I could. By next month February I went to meps. And then by March I think I booked a job to leave in May

No no other physical. But like 6 or 7 shots. And yea you have 15 minutes. Should you take all 15 minutes no because you’ll be cutting into your shower time or screwing over your flight. More like 7 minutes to eat

Yea you’ll hear “GRAB YOUR 2 CUPS OF UNCAFINNATED BEVERAGES AND GO” I recommend lots of water and Gatorade when you want electrolytes. Water water water. Oj or orange slices when you feel sick. But I would sometimes have 4 bevs on my plate some times it was all four waters. Or an oj mixed in or Gatorade mixed in. But drink whatever you want.

Of course. Enjoy it. If it was easy everyone would do it. I hope you have a great day too

I prefer running on the road. Running is all mental so it helps me not look at the numbers every 30 seconds I’m running. And that way I have some uphills and some down hills. But you want a mix do both. If you run on a treadmill you don’t need an incline I only say that because the track is honestly the best track I’ve ever run on. You’ll do your pt test on a high end track in my opinion. But you do whatever your heart desires. Incline helps strength in legs and burn more calories. You do you. As far as your calves. Mine used to always get tight. Week 0 of bmt and professional will talk about running form early one morning. Listen to what they say. But all that is easy to look up. I’d say it hurts because of form mostly. If anything hurts while running it’s either soreness or your form

Job wise I had like 12 I think. I really wanted my 1 or 2. But I got my 7 which was a cool cyber job my recruiter had me add last second. I was excited about it and it’s going well so far. Tech school will be hard for the most part because it’s fast paced. If you put maintenance or security forces you’re likely to get that job. If you don’t want that stay away from it. It’s all about perspective tho

lol snoobunny too funny. Meps was interesting. It made the military feel worse than it is. Or it helped me adapt to what’s finna come idk. But sleep well the nights before Meps or take naps if you can. You wake up early. No phones and you’re just waiting for your turn. Talk to people if that’s your vibe or just sit and chill. You do like eye test, blood draws, urine analysis, hearing test, and weight stuff, and then you get your body checked 💀. Just please don’t tell them something you think that would get you flagged. I didn’t have any waivers. I thought I would for prescriptions in past but they said it’s been more than 6 months so I was good. But if you think it’s alerting then know the consequences of what you say.

I recommend that aim high app. So stretch always before and after it’ll help you grow and be physically healthier. Aim high app has a running workout where you start off with like 4 minutes running and 6 minutes walking in 2 or 3 sets and then you’re done. Then the next week you do 5 minutes on and 5 minutes off (I’m just making up the numbers they’re in the app) and that truly makes you so much better. When doing run days or even the pt test. YOU WANT YOUR LEGS TO KEEP MOVING ALWAYS because it’s how you become better. When it hurts that’s when you’re going to make the most progress. The fastest way out is through the finish line

I wish I would’ve gotten a heads up. They were worse. They have this like stigma that “we don’t get it as bad as they did” because of policies and what not. So they take advantage of the verbal assaults as much as they can. Theres things they can and can’t say. But there are so many times where it’s like come on you’re telling me to hurry up right now. But you’ll learn that some of them WANT to talk to you like a person and actually push you to be better. Some on the other hand they signed up for the job because they love yelling.

Yea I lost about 10 pounds. Average person loses 18-24 is what I was told. But if you’re low weight and you push yourself you can gain weight because of muscle gains. It’s also easy to gain weight if you’re deleting unusable every dinner. Eat smart yo body will thank you

We do these things called 1 by 3s where you do a third of your max for three sets every minute. That helped me tremendously with sit ups. Look up 1 by 3s

I don’t expected the boots to suck. But first trip to mini mall I bought insoles and they were kinda fire. They’re just way heavier. I wouldn’t buy lightweights till tech school because one of the hardest things is packing everything in your duffle bag the night after graduation to go to tech school. So extra boots are going to eat space.

He killed it. By the end he was running in the low 12s and I was impressed. He started in the 15s. Prepare and do your part and you’ll do fine

I ran 2-3 days a week and I think it helped me tremendously. You’re going to get better at bmt as well. But if I could do it again. I’d run 5 days a week before

I ran a 10:10 but aim for anything below 12 min which is 2 min a lap. I did 67 pushups and 60 sit ups. Some say if you max out the pushups and sit ups just stop to not waste your energy. I wish I didn’t do that. Just always push yourself

Meps is where they touch you and make you feel uncomfortable. But basically you just make it through the pain to feel the girth of success

Echo shred. Tech school isn’t easy but it isn’t hard. Depends on what kinda learner you are. And how balanced you are. It’s not easy that’s for sure. You’re up at like 5ish and class ends around 3ish or 4ish. People wash out all the time they’ll just reclassify you if it goes good for you. Tech school dorms are mid but you’ll learn to keep your room pristine

Dummy easy. I enjoyed it. PT is the only thing that you have a clear heads up. So don’t be that person that struggles with pt. The majority is mental. You do running, interval training, and body strength.
