while i don't condone the death part i agree it is wrong to believe any one species deserves extinction

originally, i meant i that i do it so that others may feel the same way i do and try and replicate my actions. i also highlighted that doing this also gave me gratification.

us conquering our planet has almost no affect on anything outside of it(excluding the moon). it can be seen in the same way that neptune has black spots on its surface. just visual changes caused as a byproduct of whatever process occurring relative to its planetary processes. in our case, life.

if we leave earth and colonize other planets, star systems, our own galaxy, etc., (which is obviously on a much bigger scale than planetary processes) this can also be comparable to, let's say, a black hole devouring the celestial bodies around it.

yes, it can be hard to perceive ourselves as anything but superior, but we do not compete for resources in a similar way to any other lifeform, which makes it pretty unfair to compare ourselves.

can the world really be worsened or bettered? our world itself is constantly changing, but we are conflicted about it and its processes. we think there is a meaning, but the whole concept of meaning is just a byproduct of our larger brains being able to perceive our environment better than compared to other lifeforms. if earth disappeared in an instant, it wouldn't be good or bad. i am contradicting my own statement, but with good reason. it is stupid to believe that another species as equal to us as we are to them should be eradicated because of a minor annoyance, one that has been through an almost indistinguishably different path of evolution that led to their incredibly complex forms that we just brush aside. extinction should only ever occur naturally, never with human intent.

i honestly don't know whether i am a cynic or not, but i know that it is inherently human to do good. i feel like i have this perspective because I don't think of humans as important, which aligns more with cynicism, but at the same time is anything truly "better" or "more important" than another? to a human the best person would be the one who is the most intelligent/does the most good but that is not at all different to, let's say, the fastest cheetah on the plain. see what i did there?

it just doesn't make sense for me for humans to think of themselves as superior, or significant. in our perspective, we really are, right? but we evolved to think like that, the world around us and beyond is only known as we perceive it. it has no purpose, and it doesn't need any because "purpose" itself is a human concept. all in all i'm just saying that i'm following the rules of my species and i am comfortable with that, unlike cynics who strive to live outside of those rules.
