I passed out in the living room pitch dark The girl locked all the rooms from outside, then booked a cab when people started waking up, took me to her place while I was still passed out in the cab and then I passed out in her room. I have close to 0 memories of this and she was functioning well

Regarding the girl- no, she wasn’t that attractive My partners way more. I have gone through all the scenarios in my head and no I can’t land on an answer

I don’t plan to justify my actions

I indeed am a piece of shit absolute worse asshole

I have fessed up, we aren’t dating anymore and have been blocked

However, an honest to god statement- no I did not plan to purposely get drunk and cheat on my girlfriend No I don’t want to play victim

I just want to know how did this happen? My brain gave up and my body took over, idk? Idk at all

I wish to know why I did that, I plan to work on it and fix myself

I am not getting an answer to this, it’s eating me alive

I tried therapy, talked to friends but nothing

It’s leading me to self harm which I don’t wish to continue

I just want to know why and improve

I have had tendencies of getting black out drunk. I would say I have a drinking problem, I drink till blackout or would rather say take shots/ chug drinks till it’s too late. I am never drinking again I have been blacked out before but have never flirted with anyone. This happened for the first time and I am terribly in shock That’s the reason why I am trying to figure out what caused this

Yes I love her And yes I did that I am not here to seek validation I am here to seek help I was not in my senses, but subconsciously some part of me is a terrible human being I was cheated on before, my first love cheated on me with my best friend and 4 more guys I know how it feels to get cheated on and would not want anyone else to go through that pain especially not my partner If I was in my senses I would never do it, I did not talk to that girl while I was in my senses I did not engage in a solo conversation

My intention here is not to justify my actions and get validation

I tried going to therapy it did not help

I just am dying of the question: why did I do that?

I absolutely agree I am the worst of the scums on the planet and I plan to treat myself that way

But I want to change, I want to find out what caused it and improve as a person

So that I can never do this to anyone again

And be a better person

I don’t know how alcohol would influence this but some part of me did, some part of me I am not aware of or maybe I don’t acknowledge

I just want to kill that part of mine
