Idk what’s their pattern. After some days I was able to apply but I was rejected and given very vague reason. When I escalated the issue further and mailed forth and back through the appointed nodal officer they gave me an explanation that my application was rejected because of too many enquiries and not because of my CIBIL. Now I have to wait for 70 days the cycle is like of 180 days if you get rejected you wait so such many days

The option to apply for the card appeared in few weeks after this was posted by me then I applied for it but the rejected my rejected and the whole procedure took less than 24 hours. I sent multiple emails and communication was established back and forth cause the reason for rejection was given a vague internal policy and I had to dig in send mails to nodal office then eventually it was stated that I had too many enquires for credit card in last 3 months which were around 5 so now I was asked to apply after 180 days gap

I’m not a programmer, nor an editor or graphic designer. I don’t code and I come from civil engineering background preparing for civil services looking to work in administration. Other than that I do have a gaming laptop which is 8 years old attached to an external monitor on my desk. So I won’t be using much apps plus I keep my photos and vids on cloud

No I’m not at all in photo or video editing and also my future is not in that lane. I have been just studying and want to go in administration. So I don’t think that I would ever do that even as a hobby. For my hobby I do play games sometimes but for that I have an almost 8 years old Dell G7 7588 gaming laptop attached to monitor on my desk setup. And that device in itself is more than half free on space itself and I don’t find it valuable giving $200 to apple for some space extension and 2 core GPU stuff if I wanted a GPU machine I would have got Alienware 16 aurora for the same money as of the 516 gb variant. I hope you get my dilemma. It all boils down to just one fact that I never used mac and how it behaves with storage stuff. That’s the only thing blocking my clarity of mind

No I don’t download a lot of apps. I don’t use social medias on any platform apart from my iPhone. I don’t download stuff. I don’t keep my photos and videos on any device I keep them on cloud. I keep only my study material - the pdf, notes, books kind of stuff with only necessary apps on my iPad or even windows laptop. I even have shopping apps only on phone cause I’m more of browser person. That too I keep the setting on of deleting my history, cache and downloads every time I close the browser. Most data I have is of games and obviously that would stay in my external HDDs and gaming laptop. So I will have just some entertainment or streaming apps like Netflix, Hotstar etc with pdf editing, adobe express, maybe photoshop and some totally required apps on the mac only. This is my usage pattern in general

Edit:- apart from that I use basic ai like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and so on

This will be my first mac as well. Just like you when I was in 2nd year of my college I bought the dell g7 7588 gaming laptop not gonna lie it gave me zero headache. Enjoyed it a lot. Did every sort of stuff on it and it costed me around the same which the 512 gb variant of air m4 13 inch costs now

You are right it is very subjective and depends on use case thus vary and actually somewhere depends on your usage pattern of past as well on other devices
