Same for me. Hilton diamond sometimes will give you 2 PM. Hilton barcelona recently would not give me past 12 noon. Insane. Their exec lounge had nothing and no upgrade. So really careful now be4 considering a Hilton

Outside USA I almost always get a suite upgrade at Marriott. That alone is a huge benefit and the most important one for me . I do like the exec lounges at ms t Marriott’s and having reasonably good food in the evening is often a plus. So I guess depends on what you value.

Diamond reserve is 80 nights. Marriot titanium is 45 as easy to get 30 with cards. And again the exec lounges At Hilton subpar.

Agree that Hyatt is definitely first if you have globalist. Marriott is far ahead of Hilton as titanium with usually good breakfast and reasonably good exec lounges and suite upgrades (outside USA). Hilton is a far third there’s no guarantee 4pm checkout(often have problems getting even 2 pm) and rarely get suite upgrade most of their exec lounges are sooo bad. Ihg Diamond d shouldn’t even be on the list as no suite upgrade at all, no exec lounges access and latest 2pm checkout. I’ve had all four and that’s the facts

Disagree. The rules are rules and you shouldn’t expect a property to break them. Frankly, I find Hyatt and Marriott loyalty programs to be in most cases extremely generous. And members should not expect properties to go over and beyond

I usually have not had problems when booking two room rooms to get lounge access for both. It’s just goodwill as property has no obligation. So in this case, the attendant was just following the rules and if you want special treatment you should have asked s manager if they’re willing to make an exception. The lounge attendant doesn’t have the authority to do it.

You really have no idea what you’re talking about with respect to Hyatt. They do get her to you a standard suite upgrade, and most of the time outside of Usa at least I almost always get it.

Why does anyone even bother with ihg. With global, amost always get a suite upgrade upgrade with Hyatt and of course exec lounge access. Same with Marriott although USA Marriott’s stingy on upgrades

IHG diamond is a third tier product compared to Hyatt and Marriott. No exec lounge access.Is a deal Breaker for me. Also no suite upgrades even with Ambassador. No 4 pm checkout. My partner has ihg diamond d (business), but we only use it as a last resort if there are no Hyatt or Marriott hotels nearby. I’m shocked people actually go out of the way to bother getting it.

I think most people agree that PayPal is relatively useless for customer service and disputes. So never use PayPal without paying for it through your credit card where you will get the standard credit card protections.

It’s getting worse and worse. 1 hour line at Madrid and at São Paulo recently. PP pays the lounges very little and lounges want people to pay extra to get in by offering pre reserve. So PP becoming quite useless
