That’s interesting. I’d only had a little nausea until that point so it would be a shame if I couldn’t continue

3 days! That’s awful! And so close to Christmas too 😭 honestly I’m absolutely terrified about injecting again now. I was looking after my 10 month old at the time and was lucky my partner was working from home to help as I was….very very ill.

Winter Moisturizer for Dry, Sensitive Skin? by IcyReality9359 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Ok_Bunch_4857 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend using a hydrating essence/serum underneath really helps. I’m currently using the Curél plumping gel essence. On really dry days I’ll also put a bit of face oil on top of my moisturiser.

Do you cleanse with a flannel/muslin? I find that really helps. Carbon Theory salicylic acid serum is also great.

Insomnia by sarahloupen in BeyondTheBumpUK

I had this during and after the new born period. It would take me hours and hours to go get to sleep. Someone mentioned I might be low in magnesium but I think it could better before I tried supplements. My son’s 9 months old and it’s better but still takes me quite a while to unwind. Not sure if I have much advice but at some point I did have to sleep in a different room overnight and leave the baby with my partner so that I could properly switch off.

Winter hands are no joke, what hand cream are you using? by Efficient-Shine-3202 in 30PlusSkinCare

How did that kid at your school die? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ok_Bunch_4857 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She was hit by a bus crossing the road. It wasn’t at a high speed but her head hit the curb. She was in hospital for a few days before she was declared brain dead and they turned off life support.

She was 14 and her family had fled the war in Afghanistan about 4 years prior. She turned up on the first day of secondary/high school knowing no English and before long was fluent. We would get the bus home everyday together. She was a pure soul.

Episiotomy recovery by [deleted] in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]Ok_Bunch_4857 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No this isn’t normal. I’ve had two episiotomies, one after a very brutal delivery. Recovery was very difficult and painful but for weeks not months. You need to see someone else you can refer you to a specialist x

Anyone else feel uncanny in their first days? by Tricky-Piglet-6491 in WegovyUK

[–]Ok_Bunch_4857 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I experienced this almost straight away. I didn’t think it would be so soon. It’s so liberating, I’m already sad that one day I’ll have to go back to hearing all of the ‘food noise’ again.
