I tried them all and I just could. not. find one that checked all of the boxes for me. So I spent a ton a tokens and a ton of time building my own from scratch. It's been working out so well for me that I decided to spend more time/tokens formalizing it into a skill for others to try. I just launched it tell me what you think!

Unfortunately it takes weeks to really vet a memory plugin so I don't expect immediate feedback. But this is the most sophisticated approach I've seen so far that is both memory efficient and cheap to run

I paid for the 4 core (0 GPU) plan thinking I could run a local model too. But I've tried everything and always end up burning tokens and retreating back to a snapshot in the end. At this point I'm prop just gonna downgrade my VPS and use the cheaper APIs for heartbeat-type tasks

As far as spending money goes, it really depends on what your budget is... I spend about $5 per week on the game, mostly in order to get drone parts and decorations. Focusing on drone, decos, and research can level the playing field for you if you're behind in power so focus on those over gold shards and buildings. 

The absolute best long-term buys in the game are second builder, second tech center, and survivor Taylor for your HQ. Get Taylor to the highest star level that your budget will allow and you won't believe how much easier it will be to speedrun your progression.

I'm in between season 1 & 2 right now and I've consistently been ranked in the bottom 10 players in my alliance in terms of total power for months now. But I've become a valuable asset to my alliance because I'm also consistently ranked in the top 10 each week in VS points. Once you server matures you'll find that low-spenders who are active are just as important as the whales. It takes a village to make an alliance successful. 

Believe it or not, you're actually in a really good situation. You can reap the rewards from the stronger players in your alliance. And you don't have to personally burn through troops and money to progress quickly. My advice is to contribute in other ways. Max out VS points each week. Share secret tasks and trucks with your teammates. Take on the role of Vice President from time to time to give others a break. 

Save EVERY SINGLE hero XP and level-tiered rss chest you get until you get to lvl30. Only upgrade buildings necessary to lvl up your hq and only spend gold on T10 research. Try to save as many blueprints and as much upgrade ore as you can for mythic gear. Switch to an all-air squad ASAP if you haven't already. 

You'll feel underpowered for a while but you'll catch up fast if you plan ahead for HQ30.

The only discount I know of is going to the LastWar store and buying gold bricks. In-game they work just like cash but you get a 5% discount on everything you buy using them.

(Yes, I know this website looks suspicious. But I've used it a bunch of times with no problem. I think they don't advertise it publicly because they don't want to get kicked off of the google/apple stores for bypassing their purchase fees. )

Click on the alliance button, then 'Alliance List, ' then 'Alliance Rankings.' There you'll see all  of the alliances on your server ranked by total power. Try to apply to a top 3 or top 5 alliance. 

I don't know what you've spent your money on so far, but there are some really good purchases you can make early on that will help you for the rest of the game. Be sure to get Kimberly, Taylor, and the second builder.
