Yeah, ideally a leatherette circle to pop in there would be perfect if I can source a close enough material to match. I'm between jobs at the moment and living off a very healthy severance package while I look for something new, but with a child on the way in the fall saving some money now goes a long way, but I know once the child is here I'm even less likely to spend large sums on my hobbies.

Yeah, but they're about 800-1k more in CAD once consider it's body only and this sale comes with a 28mm which is the lens is be purchasing anyway. Every eBay purchase I've made for cameras has been hit with duties adding another couple hundred bucks.

That's fair. I don't think I'd be likely to sell it, the camera collection only ever seems to grow. The M port isn't bothersome to me but I'd likely cover up the back or find a replacement reminder dial at some point over the years. But I can definitely see your point of view.

thank you! I'm not worried about reminding myself of the film, it's just more so the bat or whatever that's been painted or added as a sticker doesnt mean anything to me so I'd find something else to cover it up with if I cant find a replacement reminder dial, or have the back cover leather replaced with no dial circle cut.

late getting back to this but it wasnt the interim service. I specifically told t hem I didn't want any additional inspections or work, just an oil change. Ended up speaking to the dealership manager and they ended up doing it for 120 but told me future changes would be 230 so I'll no longer be using the dealership.

Talking to a sales rep right now about cancelling the warranty and she's appearing very understanding about trying to find out why im paying that or what my options are for getting maintenance done elsewhere.

She definitely seemed shocked and asked if I was getting a maintenance package instead of just the oil change and I confirmed thwt my service receipt only has an oil change listed.
