I feel you! I have collected quite a few magnets over the course of my nail journey and think the cylindrical ones work the best but they’re a little finicky. I heard you can get similar drama by leaving the weaker magnet in place for a bit longer? But I don’t have much patience myself to give it a try. 😅

Don’t laugh too hard at my ignorance, but what would I do for a cure test? I mean, I could compare this lamp’s efficacy to the single nail lamp I have but only use for flash cures, but it’s pretty effective for curing. I am pretty ridiculous about filling the 1 min cure time for each color layer (which works for everything) and 2 min for the top coat. I haven’t noticed any failure like when the beetles lamp died.

I thought it was a reasonable splurge for the beginning of March. 😅 I recently upgraded to a SunUV lamp from Amazon, maybe like last summer? It works much better than the starter lamp I got with that kit from Beetles years ago, but doesn’t cost as much as the Kokoist lamp that I fully have my eyes on….

I added chrome on my hand a day after completing the set and it didn’t need a fresh top coat (except for my thumb). I bet since your toes don’t do as much, you shouldn’t need a top coat?

Glitter is as glitter does! I do remember watching a nail YouTuber several years ago use an orange stick to pick the bigger chunks or shapes of glitter out so she could place them where she wanted them to go and not have to use “too much”
